1. Company Profile

The Food & Feed Additive Division is one of the three core business segments of Qingdao Redstar Chemical Group Co., Ltd., a municipal state-owned enterprise. Established in 1992, its subsidiary Qingdao Redstar Chemical Group Natural Pigment Co., Ltd. is among China’s earliest enterprises to develop and realize industrialized production of paprika oleoresin.

In 2018, the Group founded Guizhou Redstar Shanhai Biotech Co., Ltd. in Anshun to launch the project of extracting capsicum oleoresin from high-pungency chili peppers.

For years, the Group has focused on deep processing of chili peppers and obtained multiple authoritative domestic and international certifications including ISO, FAMI-QS, HALAL and KOSHER. Our core products are paprika oleoresin and capsicum oleoresin, widely applied in food coloring & seasoning, feed additives, cosmetics and other fields. Products are sold to numerous countries and regions worldwide.

2. Job Information

Position: Laboratory Analyst

(1) Job Responsibilities

① Conduct quality analysis and testing of raw, auxiliary materials and finished products of the company.

② Participate in preparation work for audits of management systems such as ISO9001.

(2) Job Requirements

Aged under 35; College diploma or above, majoring in Food Science & Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry and other related disciplines. Candidates with relevant working experience are preferred.

(6) Work Location: Zhenning County, Anshun, Guizhou Province; Hejing County, Bayingolin Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang.

4. Qualification Review

Qualification review will run through the whole recruitment process. If any information submitted by applicants is verified untrue, their eligibility for application, examination, physical examination and employment will be revoked immediately.

5. Examination, Physical Examination & Background Check

(1) Examination

The assessment includes written test and interview, each scored out of 100. The passing score for the written test is 60 points. Qualified candidates will enter the interview in descending order of written test scores at a ratio of no less than 1:3 and no higher than 1:6.

Comprehensive Score = Written Test Score x 50% + Interview Score x 50%.

If the number of applicants or interviewees fails to reach the ratio of 1:3, this recruitment plan will be cancelled and reopened. Candidates whose comprehensive score is below 60 points will not be employed.

In case of tied comprehensive scores, candidates with higher interview scores will be prioritized. If scores remain identical, an additional interview will be arranged.

(2) Physical Examination

Physical examinations shall be conducted at county-level or above general hospitals in accordance with the General Standards and Operating Manual for Civil Servant Recruitment Physical Examination. Fees shall be borne by candidates and reimbursed upon formal onboarding.

(3) Background Check

Multiple approaches including file review, field visits and interviews will be adopted to assess candidates’ political literacy and professional competence, and verify qualifications such as academic degrees and certificates.
