Capsaicin

Capsaicin is a natural, high-efficiency and multi-functional active substance. It is nearly tasteless yet extremely pungent, with a heat level exceeding 15 million Scoville Heat Units (SHU). Featuring strong irritancy, it holds irreplaceable value in agriculture, food, daily chemical and security fields.

It is applied in spicy foods such as hot pot base, chili sauces, spicy gluten snacks and potato chips. It can be formulated into insect repellents to repel aphids, mites and rodents with eco-friendly characteristics and no residual substances. Additionally, it can be used in medical analgesic preparations, as well as the production of tear gas and personal defense sprays, where its strong irritancy is utilized to subdue targets.
